Congratulations to the following EDI alums for their most recent accomplishments!
- Sandra Cho, Portland Discovery Class of 2011 from Columbia Sportswear, was selected as one of the 2012 winners of the “40 Under Forty Award” sponsored by the Portland Business Journal.
- Colleen Fukui-Sketchley, Puget Sound Discovery Class of 2005, was promoted to Diversity Affairs Director for Nordstrom’s Corporate Center. From 2010-2011 Colleen was President of the University of Washington Alumni Association, the first Asian American woman to serve in this position.
- Kelly Mason, Puget Sound Discovery Class of 2008, was promoted to Privacy Project Manager in a new start-up division at Nordstrom. Kelly served as an EDI Board Director from 2009-2011.
- Nyle Miyamoto, Puget Sound Discovery Class of 2002, was recently promoted to Director of Engineering Operations & Process Management at The Boeing Company
- S. Mae Fujita Numata, Inaugural Discovery Class of 1994, joins Columbia Banking Systems Board of Directors.
- Chad Oishi, Puget Sound Discovery Class of 2000, was recently promoted to 747-8 Manufacturing Final Assembly Director at The Boeing Company.
- Florexis Velasco, Puget Sound Navigation Class of 2011, was recently promoted to Chief of Staff of the IT Infrastructure (ITI) Organization at The Boeing Company.
